The European Aquaculture Society (EAS) was established on April 30, 1976 as an international, non-profit association, with the principal objective of being the European forum for contacts and information exchange between all actors within the aquaculture industry. EAS currently has members in 59 countries worldwide, working in all fields related to aquaculture.
As well as organising conferences and workshops related to all aspects of European Aquaculture, EAS provides numerous services to its members, through its publications and its web site. Visitors to the site can find out about the activities of EAS, join the society, submit articles for our members magazine, take a subscription to our scientific journal "Aquaculture International", register for our conferences, post your CV or job offer and consult special EAS publications.
The 'members only' section provides more specific information and also contains a networking forum, where members looking for information on a certain subject, contact information, potential partnerships in research projects or for joint ventures, can ask other members to contact them. A unique service to members of EAS
