Les chevaux de mer qui arrivent sur le site subissent un contrôle sanitaire complet avant d’être introduits dans le système en circuit fermé pour éviter l’entrée éventuelle d’un agent pathogène. They are placed in a special quarantine room in separate tanks and are carefully monitored for a length of time. This is important to prevent possible sick seahorses infecting healthy animals.
